No Such Thing As Free $40 TV Converter Box “Voucher”

C’mon people are we that dumb? The government is not passing these “vouchers” out for free, believe me we are paying for them with our hard-earned tax dollars! Congress created the TV Converter Box Coupon Program for households wishing to keep using their analog TV sets after February 17, 2009. After researching I’ve found that the average price for one of these so-called analog converter boxes will be $55. So the consumers (in my estimation will be the lower income sector) will have to shell out and additional $15-$30 for this converter box. I just discovered recently that you would be better off buying a digital ready TV and
purchasing a HDTV antenna to complete this transition. After reading the headaches your are going to impose on yourself if you choose the box route… you may think twice!
